Forming resilient leaders through belovedness, healing, and community
About This Retreat

Every honest marriage
has conflict.

Leadership marriages carry a particular kind of weight. The same gifts that make you effective in ministry — the capacity to absorb, the instinct to hold it together — can quietly work against you at home.

This retreat is not a crisis intervention and it is not a marriage seminar. It is a dedicated few days to do the real, unhurried work of moving toward one another, rooted in the peace Christ made possible through his cross.

Grounded in Ephesians 2:14–18, we will explore what it means to let Jesus be the reconciler in the relationship closest to you.

"For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility..."

Ephesians 2:14–18

What to Expect

Four days of unhurried work.

The retreat is structured but not packed. There is room to breathe, explore, and actually be with each other.

Teaching Sessions

Grounded, honest teaching on conflict, reconciliation, and what it looks like to move toward one another when it is hard.

Creative + Reflective Work

Guided exercises designed to help you and your spouse go deeper than conversation usually allows.

Shared Community

You will be in the room with other ministry couples carrying similar weight. There is something healing about not being the only ones.

Worship

Unhurried time in worship together. Not performance. Just presence.

Free Time to Explore

Glen Eyrie is surrounded by the Garden of the Gods. We build in real space to wander, rest, and enjoy being together somewhere beautiful.

Pastoral Care

Our team is present — not just as speakers but as people who care about you. Space for honest conversation and prayer.

Your Speakers

You are in good hands.

Our speakers come not as experts looking down, but as fellow travelers who have done this work in their own marriages and their own ministries.

The Setting

Glen Eyrie
Conference Center

A historic castle set in the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. The grounds are extraordinary, the accommodations are warm, and the setting does something to the soul that a hotel conference room simply cannot.

This is not an accident. Where you do this work matters.
